Mid-Level Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will be divided between supporting Accounts Receivable (AR) and contributing to General Ledger (GL) and expenses management.
1. Accounts Receivable & Collections Support
- Process incoming accounts and collections in compliance with established financial policies.
- Issue and follow up on payment reminders to customers to ensure the timely settlement of outstanding invoices.
- Investigate and efficiently resolve any discrepancies in customer invoices or collections, coordinating effectively with the Sales and Customer Service departments.
- Reconcile incorrect or unauthorized discounts by following defined procedures.
- Prepare Accounts Receivable Aging Reports and submit them to senior management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of invoices, debtors, and credit notes, both physically and within the accounting system.
- Coordinate with the Treasury Department to issue monthly reports related to post-dated checks.
2. Expenses & General Ledger
- Contribute to the recording and preparation of daily and monthly expenses in accordance with accounting standards.
- Prepare necessary monthly journal entries and transfers for the General Ledger (GL).
- Assist in ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all accounting files and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Practical experience ranging from 3 to 6 years.
- Familiarity with accounting systems and software, with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative), and the ability to analyze problems and devise solutions.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and good proficiency in the English language.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
